TEAM NEWS
QPR manager Mark Hughes still has a couple of problems in defence ahead of his side’s clash with Everton. Although Jose Bosingwa and Anton Ferdinand are both now fit, Armand Traore is still fighting for match fitness and full-back Fabio (hamstring) is due to have a scan in the next two weeks. Midfielder Samba Diakite returns from a one-match ban with striker Andy Johnson (knee) a long-term absentee.
Everton will be without Marouane Fellaini, but manager David Moyes is optimistic the midfielder will not be sidelined for too long. Fellaini, who has been one of the most impressive players in the league this season, suffered a knee injury against Wigan two weeks ago and missed out on international duty with Belgium.
He could be fit for next weekend’s Merseyside derby as could Tony Hibbert (calf), but Darron Gibson (thigh) is likely to be out for longer while short-term signing Thomas Hitzlsperger will not yet be considered.
MANAGER QUOTES
Mark Hughes: "I think John Terry feels that he hasn’t done anything wrong and that has been his stance. So for him to apologise would perhaps be an admission of guilt so I wouldn't have thought he would be prepared to do that."
David Moyes: "We're short on midfield players so we could do with another, but I couldn't turn around right now and say (Hitzlsperger's) ready to play in the Premier League. But he's trained for four weeks - the equivalent of doing a pre-season."
