THE NSW government is accelerating its asset sales campaign, identifying more redundant government buildings to sell -- on top of the $300 million worth of city and regional properties earmarked for disposal earlier this month.
"We are definitely looking for the next round (of asset sales), because we know there is a lot of excess property out there," NSW Finance Minister Greg Pearce told The Australian, yesterday. "We have taken the very strong view that assets should only be held if . . . they have a service delivery element to them."
