Matchpack: Newcastle United v West Ham United - Eurosport.com AU

TEAM NEWS

Newcastle will be without suspended duo Cheick Tiote and Fabricio Coloccini for Sunday's Premier League clash with West Ham. Midfielder Tiote completes his three-match domestic ban after being sent-off during the 1-1 derby draw at Sunderland, while central defender Coloccini starts a similar punishment following his red card at Liverpool last Sunday. Manager Alan Pardew, who made eight changes for last night's 2-2 Europa League draw with Club Brugge in Belgium, is likely to restore most of his big names with Jonas Gutierrez, Hatem Ben Arfa and Demba Ba rested, but Danny Simpson (shoulder) remains a doubt and James Perch (thigh) is out for up to six weeks.

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce could face a defensive crisis ahead of his side's Premier League match at Newcastle on Sunday. Both James Collins and James Tomkins will have fitness tests on Saturday to determine whether they are available to play, otherwise Allardyce will be left with only one fit central defender in Winston Reid. Full-back Guy Demel has returned to training following a hernia problem but Matthew Taylor (calf), Ricardo Vaz Te (shoulder) and Jack Collison (knee) remain sidelined.

MANAGER QUOTES

Alan Pardew (Newcastle United): "The position we are in, if I'm honest, is because we used the money from Andy Carroll's sale well. He was a brilliant player for us, but the fee was astronomical. We have used it well and we owe a great debt to him. It's nice to see Kevin come back. He did a super job here. Whatever he was asked to do, he conducted himself well. And he gets a goal. He has proven that at any level, he will get a goal. I'm looking forward to seeing them both and I enjoyed working with them. There will be a lot on the game. Kevin (Nolan) will be determined to get a result, as will Andy and the manager coming back."

Sam Allardyce (West Ham United): "My spell at Newcastle is way in the past and my focus this weekend is more about supporting Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll on their return and helping them deliver a performance back at their former club. I want us to play well on Sunday, not only because it would continue our growth in this League but also for Kevin and Andy. We want to make them our heroes. Mind you, they both accept how difficult it will be because they know and appreciate the players who are there."
