FORMER NSW planning minister Frank Sartor has told a corruption hearing in Sydney he was made "very uneasy" when Labor powerbroker Eddie Obeid offered to help him establish a retirement nest-egg.
Mr Sartor told a public hearing of the Independent Commission Against Corruption in Sydney yesterday that the conversation occurred in 2002 or 2003, when Mr Sartor was lord mayor of Sydney and was being courted by Labor to enter state parliament.
