ASCIANO'S coal haulage division says demand for coal is back to record levels in NSW and Queensland, but warns increased volatility is making the outlook ahead uncertain.
The chief executive of the rail and ports operator, John Mullen, said the erratic market sentiment has been seen across the company's operations, including its ports and in coal haulage.
