Newcastle Jets coach Gary van Egmond is playing his cards close to his chest, refusing to name the side that will take on Sydney FC this weekend.
He has named an extended 19-man squad for Saturday's home clash, which includes Taylor Regan and Michael Bridges who did not make the trip to Perth for last weekend's 3-nil loss to the Glory.
The Jets are coming off the back of four losses and one draw.
Van Egmond says a win this weekend against Sydney will be a crucial confidence booster.
"Against Perth I felt that we probably didn't control the game as much as what I would have liked," he said.
"So, there'll be some changes this weekend.
"And you know, we really need to get at Sydney, they're a team as equally as down on their confidence as what we've been over the last couple of weeks.
"I'd rather not talk about specifics in regards to players but from my point of view, it's more so about where we play the game and what we try to enforce on Sydney."
