(Chelsea lead 1-0 from the first leg)
TEAM NEWS
Chelsea duo Frank Lampard and Branislav Ivanovic will be rested for the last-32 second leg against Sparta Prague. The Blues have a 1-0 lead from last week's first leg in the Czech Republic and interim manager Rafael Benitez on Wednesday confirmed the pair will be rested with Sunday's trip to Manchester City in mind. Striker Demba Ba is cup-tied after previously featuring for Newcastle and midfielder Oriol Romeu is out with a long-standing knee injury.
Former Chelsea midfielder Jiri Jarosik missed the first leg with an injury but should be fit to face his former side.
MANAGER QUOTES
Rafael Benitez: "Lampard will not be in the squad tomorrow because we have to manage it a little bit. If he can score a lot of goals it will be fantastic for him and will be fantastic for us. Everybody knows that he is close (to Bobby Tambling’s all-time Chelsea record of 202 goals). I am sure they will try to help if they have a chance. If we have a penalty, he can take it and things like this. But the main thing is he's doing well, scoring goals. We have more competition now and that's good for me. It's a problem, but a good one because we have too many games, so to have many players available is good."
Vitezslav Lavicka: "We expect that Chelsea will play the best they can to win. We are coming here 1-0 down, which makes it a difficult situation for us but we still have a clear intention to play our best and try to surprise tomorrow. It is going to be a tough, tough game for us but we have a clear intention to do our best. We will try to qualify, which is what we want."
MATCH ODDS
