Hubert van den Burgh is someone that enjoys spicing up his language on a daily basis.
His book How to Sound Really Clever has 600 of his latest favourites, so you can swan around using words like forbearance and occluded and feel less of a lumpen.
Hubert found the words all over the place, "a lot of the words were suggested by friends".
But he advises you use your newfound bon mot wisely.
