Xavier Askin is the curator of the project and is looking for contributors to the zine.
"People are doing weird stuff all across Newcastle, and Keep Newcastle Weird is a snapshot of these weird views" Xavier noted from his garden shed.
But what about the time honoured Newcastle tradition of humiliating anyone who stands out as being different in anyway whatsoever? Usually by yelling at them from a passing car.
"Hoon abuse is one of those quaint and venerable rituals of Newcastle that really make its character" replied Xavier from just near the peg bag.
"It's just another form of street theatre".
