2. Demba Ba: Newcastle United to Chelsea
The Senegalese striker had been dropping hints about his future at Tyneside and when it was heard that Chelsea were in the market for a striker during the January transfer window in 2013, Ba knew that he had a chance to play for a Champions League winning club. The Blues activated the striker's €7 million buy-out clause and brought him to Stamford Bridge. Newcastle manager Alan Pardew quoted that Ba was going to Chelsea with Newcastle's blessing. The former West Ham striker has since then scored four times for the Pensioners.
