Milan set sights on £12m summer swoop for crocked Newcastle keeper Krul - Daily Mail

Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul is reportedly a £12million target for Italian giants AC Milan.


The Dutchman will sit out the rest of the season after injuring his shoulder in the derby defeat to Sunderland last weekend.


And Krul, 25, could have played his last game for the club is Milan follow up their interest.

He is under contract until 2017 but that, along with Newcastle's reluctance to sell, will not put off Milan, according to the Daily Mirror.


The Serie A side are also keen on Queens Park Rangers' No 1 Julio Cesar but his £70,000-a-week wages are a major stumbling block.


Krul is also eight years younger and is being lined up to replace current first choice stalwart Christian Abbiati.
