The former footballer will make a one-off appearance at the tour's stop in Newcastle on May 26, reports The Sun .
Gascoigne almost took part in Strictly Ice Dancing in 2004, but was forced to pull out due to a back injury.
Dancing on Ice winner Beth Tweddle, runner-up Matt Lapinskas, Gareth Thomas and Chico are among the stars taking part in the 'Celebrities on Ice' tour.
The tour was set up after the official Dancing on Ice tour was scrapped for 2013.
Gascoigne said: "I'm really excited about this opportunity to be involved in Celebrities on Ice, especially as I will be appearing up in Newcastle.
"I'm always up for a laugh and this is going to be a lot of fun joining the likes of Beth Tweddle, Gareth Thomas and Kyran Bracken.
"I can't wait to be back in front of a home crowd."
A spokesperson added: "To have Gazza performing in his home town of Newcastle is fantastic.
"We're really excited about the tour kicking off in Birmingham next Friday. Peter Andre will also be joining us to sing at three shows in Birmingham."
'Celebrities on Ice' embarks on a nine-week nationwide tour from Friday, April 19.
Gascoigne recently completed a rehab stint in the US for alcohol addiction.
