Roma are the latest club to show interest in Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul but would have to sell Fulham target Maarten Stekelenburg first.
AC Milan, as revealed by Sportsmail in January, remain keen on Krul, 25 who is valued around £15m.
Out? Krul could be on his way to Roma, but it may depend on fellow Dutchman Stekelenburg (below)
The Dutchman will sit out the rest of the season after injuring his shoulder in the derby defeat to Sunderland last weekend.
He is under contract until 2017 but that, along with Newcastle’s reluctance to sell, will not put off Milan.
Krul is also eight years younger and is being lined up to replace current first choice stalwart Christian Abbiati.

Meanwhile, Fulham have recalled winger Alexander Kacaniklic from a loan spell at Burnley.
The 21-year-old has made six appearances for the npower Championship outfit since joining them at the start of March.
However, Kacaniklic has now been recalled by Martin Jol and could be involved in this weekend’s home clash with Arsenal.
The Sweden international has already appeared for Fulham 19 times this season, netting three goals.
