NEWCASTLE'S record this season needs little hyperbole – the Falcons have swept everything and everyone before them.
Dean Richards' team have won all 21 games they played in the Championship and seven from seven in the British & Irish Cup.
Leeds got within four points of the Falcons and London Scottish to within three, while both Bedford and Nottingham were "only" beaten by two points.
But, after 28 matches, Newcastle's 100 per cent record still stands – and, in the process, they have scored 990 points and 133 tries.

In the Championship, Newcastle are scoring an average of 31.5 points per game and conceding 11, while, in the British & Irish Cup, they have scored a remarkable 46.7 points per game, while conceding just 6.3.
But perhaps the most impressive thing about Newcastle this season is that they are not reliant on the brilliance of one player – theirs is truly a team effort.
After Newcastle won 37-20 at Bristol on the opening day of the season, then Bristol head coach Liam Middleton said: "There is only one man (Gopperth) – and, if you nullify him, Newcastle are a pretty average side."
And while Gopperth has impressed to such an extent that he has been snapped up by Irish giants Leinster ahead of next season, Newcastle have shown they are anything but a one-man team.
Such is their all-round quality that they do not have a single player in the top-ten Championship try-scorers' list, while 33 different players have crossed in all competitions.
In fact, their leading method of scoring tries this season is through penalty tries.
They have forced 12 of those, while Gopperth has scored ten tries and Luke Fielden nine.
