CHRIS Houston and Timana Tahu have been dumped to the NSW Cup in the wake of the Newcastle Knights' embarrassing 44-14 loss to the Raiders.

David Fa’alogo will start at lock, while Joey Leilua has been named in the centres.

In positive news for the Knights, Jarrod Mullen has overcome a knee injury and will partner Tyrone Roberts in the halves.

Captain Kurt Gidley has been named at starting hooker, with Travis Waddell returning to the bench.

Neville Costigan has been added to the bench after two weeks in NSW Cup.
