Development of those lands is in the hands of Sean Gordon, CEO of Darkinjung Aboriginal Land Council.
Sean was born in Brewarrina but moved his family to the coast 11 years ago
A builder by trade, he has now turned his attention to creating the most innovative land council in the state.
Jill interviewed Sean at Merewether Beach, though he much prefers the feeling of mud than sand between his toes.
