A QUIET dinner party at Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini’s home rivalled the Cannes film festival as the world’s most talked-about bash last night.
News of the Toon skipper’s night in with his teammates incredibly trended WORLDWIDE on Twitter as #colosparty ahead of Chelsea's cup winning antics too.
Global interest in the sedate bash was kicked off by Newcastle striker Sami Ameobi who posted a series of tweets and pics about the evening.
The stars were then mocked for unusually quiet night - which didn't appear to live up to Premier League stars' usual end of season of parties surrounded by girls and high jinks.

Thousands of fans joined in with the fun by tweeting imaginary scenarios that could have taken place at the bash.
Soon the party was trending - first in the UK - then worldwide.
And this morning Sammy Ameobi Tweeted: "Literally took about 45 minutes to scroll through my mentions this morning... #ColosParty was off the chain! #lol."
Reports have claimed the party could be leaving do for Collocini who publically declared he wanted to return to Argentina earlier in the season.
