A woman has been killed when her car collided with the back of a van north of Newcastle in NSW's Hunter region.
Police say the woman's sedan hit the van at about 7am (AEDT) on Thursday at Hexam. She was found dead at the scene by police officers.
The van's occupants were uninjured and the driver is undergoing mandatory drug and urine testing.
